OUTREACH: Zoomobiles

Outreach/Zoomobile programs are designed for individual classes of 20 to 30 children (depending on the age), allowing for a more hands-on learning experience. The use of live animals and biofacts make these programs engaging and dynamic. Each program is 30-45 minutes long.

Pre-K and Kindergarten (about 30 minutes long, up to 20 children/class)

Wild Encounters: Our most popular program! This exploration of animal groups is easily adapted to fit younger age groups and is especially good for mixed age classes

The Unlovables: some animals are just unloved by people. In this program, children will learn why unlovables are important too!

Grades 1 through 5 (about 45 minutes long, up to 30 children/class)

Snake, Rattle and Roll: Reptiles like snakes and turtles captivate most children. This program introduces students to the amazing realm of the reptile.
NatureTech: So many inventions we use have their roots in the observation of nature. Explore the science of how the world around us has inspired a plethora of inventions we use and see everyday.
Classification Safari: A look at scientific classification that starts with the basics and moves into the nuts and bolts of how animals are grouped.
A Tree’s Story: This rainforest program focuses on the amazing biodiversity of the rainforest by ‘listening’ to the story of a single tree.
Destination Conservation: A study of endangered species, threats to their survival and how kids can take steps to help.
Everybody Need A Home: everybody needs a home…even animals! This interactive program will take a look at biomes, habitats and niches (oh my!) and the transfer of energy through them.
