You’ve seen pictures and read the stories…and even seen the animals themselves from afar. Now-come and experience Capron Park Zoo from an entirely viewpoint!
Red Panda Encounters are offered on Sunday, Thursday, and Saturday at 2:00 PM -2:30 PM.
CAPRON PARK ZOO MEMBERS $175.00 PER PERSON
NON-MEMBERS $200.00 PER PERSON
LIMITED TO ONE ENCOUNTER, UP TO 4 INDIVIDUALS, PER DAY OFFERED
PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED
In this adventure, you will join a staff member and have a no barriers encounter with our Goat Family “Sally” “Artoo” “Dixie” and “Petunia”. Learn about these lovable zoo residents while getting the chance to interact with them.
Adventures are offered Sunday, Tuesday, and Saturday at 11:00AM to 11:30AM (limit of 6 individuals per adventure)
CAPRON PARK ZOO MEMBERS $50.00 for 4 individuals
NON-MEMBERS $55.00 for 4 individuals
ADDITIONAL INDIVIDUALS (UP TO 2) $10.00 Each.
In this adventure, you will join a staff member Behind-the-Scenes in our Lion Building. Learn about our resident Lions “Ramses” and “Nyala” while getting the chance to see where they sleep and spend their time when they are not on exhibit. You will also learn how Keepers care for these very special residents to ensure the highest level of care and wellbeing.
Adventures are offered Fridays at 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM (limit of 4 individuals per Exploration).

RED PANDA ENCOUNTER:
$175 per person for Capron Park Zoo Members & $200.00 per person for Members
GOAT ADVENTURE:
$50.00 for 4 Individual Capron Park Zoo Members & $55.00 for 4 individual Non-Members ($10.00 per additional individual up to 2)
LIONS BEHIND-THE-SCENES EXPLORATION:
$125.00 per person for Capron Park Zoo Members & $150.00 per person for Non-Members
THINGS TO KNOW:
> Encounter programs are about 30 minutes long
We DO NOT guarantee animal interaction – the animals have the choice as to whether or not they wish to approach program participants
All participants MUST sign a Liability Waiver (Parent/Guardian must sign waiver for individuals under the age of 18)
Participants MUST be AT LEAST:
12 years old to participate in Red Panda encounter
5 years old to participate in Goat Adventure
10 years old to participate in Lion Behind-the-Scenes Exploration
> Participants age 5-18 MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian into the encounter.
> Participants MUST wear pants/jeans and sneakers or boots. The zoo reserves the right to deny participants entry into exhibits if not properly dressed
Encounter fee includes admission to the zoo
< Please arrive 20 minutes before scheduled tour start time to allow for orientation.
