Zoo Snooze Programs

See the Zoo in a different light.

Enjoy a Zoo Snooze Overnight!

Zoo Snoozes are a fun way to enjoy seeing your favorite animals after dark.  Come during the winter, spring, summer or fall and discover what happens at the zoo at night.

Indoor Option

A Walk in the Dark: Who's afraid of the dark - not us!  This program introduces children and adults to life after dark in the zoo.  Participants will set up 'camp' in the Nocturnal Building and after an evening snack, learn about animal adaptations for living in the dark.  Come and discover the 'magic in the dark' during this fun and exciting indoor adventure. (NOTE: we can only accomodate up to 25 people in this Snooze option!)

Outdoor Option

Bring your tents, set-up in the zoo and enjoy a special evening with us.  After an evening walk through the zoo, participants will enjoy a campfire and marshmallow roast (weather permitting).

All Snoozes Include:

• An evening snack *
• Walks, games or other activities specific to the topic
• A continental breakfast
• A morning behind-the-scenes tour
• An up-close encounter with an animal ambassador

* Groups are welcome to bring in their own dinner or have it delievered to the zoo!

Fees:

• Safari Snooze: 1-12 people* -- $250.00
• Explorers Zoo:13-24 people* -- $350.00
• Adventure Snooze: 25-36 people* -- $450.00
• Super Explorers Snooze:37-48 people* -- $550.00

Zoo Members enjoy a $25.00 discount on any snooze!

* For parties containing more than 50 people, please call for pricing and other information

For safety reasons, Capron Park Zoo requires a 1:5 ratio of adults to children
