So ...you're planning a trip to the Zoo and want to make sure it will go smoothly.

Capron Park Zoo has a variety of services available for the convenience of our visitors.

NEW Splashpad Playspace

This fun and exciting zero-depth water playground is sure to thrill children of all ages.  Be sure to bring a bathing suit and towel for the maximum fun factor! Open seasonally

Feed your hunger at the Concession Stand.

Although the zoo does not allow visitors to bring picnics into the zoo, the Concession Stand (open seasonally) offers delicious fresh cooked food that will satisfy the pickiest eaters.  Enjoy an ice cream treat, a cold drink or even a whole meal while you rest at our shady picnic benches. SORRY - the Concession Stand DOES NOT accept debit or credit cards - cash only!

PLEASE NOTE: the Concession Stand is OPEN weekends and weekdays, weather permitting.

Take home a Zoo Memory

Looking for a souvenir of your day?  Find something special for yourself or someone else in the Zoo's Gift Shop.  Lovable stuffed animals, games, mugs and much more are available for purchase.  Open year round so you can even find a holiday gift for that animal lover in your life!

Wagon Rental Available

Do your little ones have tired feet?  Capron Park Zoo has some wagons for rent - inquire in the Gift Shop during your visit.

Fully Handicapped Accessibility

All the zoo's exhibits and fun features are accessible to those with physical challenges.

Courteous, knowledgeable staff and volunteers

Our staff is always happy to answer a question about the animals or just offer a friendly smile.  Capron Park Zoo volunteers are sure to make you visit more enjoyable with interesting talks and activities!. 

Open YEAR ROUND!

The zoo is open 362 days a year (closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day), weather permitting, so you can visit your favorite animal all year long!
